POSITION: District Sales Manager
MANAGER: Regional Sales Manager

LOCATION: Southeastern U.S. - Remote Position



SUMMARY

The Remote District Sales Manager serves as the primary business contact for the customer and is responsible for customer satisfaction by developing relationships within the assigned customer base to promote, sell, and support product lines in the assigned territory covering the Southeast U.S.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent customer needs and goals within the organization to ensure sales, quality, new business/product opportunities.

Work with customers, engineering, and product management for the development of sales and new products to existing and new clients.

Conduct product and sales training activities in support of Horizon's targets to pull product to the installer.

Responsible for making recommendations for promotional activities, new products, and business opportunities.

Execute account specific programs designed to achieve profitable sales volume and optimal distribution.

Develops in depth presentations to ensure the achievement of the customers' and company business objectives.

Analyzes the customer's business to develop tactical sales plans to achieve growth and profit objectives.

Increase product and brand exposure by participating in trade show and customer show events.

Accountable for territory expense budget and ensures all budgets are managed within budgetary requirements.

Identifies and analyzes business trends utilizing syndicated data, account profitability and category information.

Develop action plans to capitalize on the business opportunities for the customer.

Partners with customers to provide accurate and timely volume forecast for assigned segments.

Supports corporate departments such as purchasing, customer/technical service, accounting, engineering, marketing, product management, and training.



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field preferred.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales and/or Category Leadership required.

Successful candidates will travel the assigned territory approximately 60% of the time.

Background working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook preferred.
